Christmas 2010 Wishlist

My SIL posted her wishlist for the coming holidays about 3 days ago on FB and it got me thinking more about what I also want for Christmas.  I have been obsessing over several items already, mostly bags (aagghh!) and a few other stuff. We both share almost the same passion for a lot of things and we spend endless hours talking on the phone for the things that we desire. haha

Right now, we are both stay-at-home moms and we desperately need a high-paying job to make our Christmas wishes come true!! ;)  We even thought of joining online contests and the like.. desperate much? Nah.. ;)

Anyways, here are some of mine:

from the top:  Moleskine Planner, Melissa Ocean, Melissa Mermaid, Marc by Marc Jacobs Totally Turnlock clutch, the new iPod Touch, Longchamp Le Pliages LE in Miyajima, Great Wall, Statue of Liberty, Eiffel Tower, and Galleries Lafayette (whew!) =p

Those are the ones on my mind right now and are still subject to change in the coming days.  Sometimes, I can be a little fickle-minded. haha

I am not in a rush though.. I don't expect to get everything by this Christmas.  Just one or two will do and hopefully, the rest will follow.

So do you dolls have a Christmas Wishlist too?  What are the things you want or need this Christmas?  It's only a wishlist afterall.  We can always hope dear Santa gets to read this. ;)

Makeup your Mind

I love makeup.  They make me feel pretty especially during days when I feel down.  I rarely go out so I am really excited (if I have enough time) to make my face on these special and not-so-special days.  I am not really brand conscious though.  I am quite loyal to several products.  These are the ones that live up to my expectations of them and some are just products I really love using over & over & over again.

I am still in search for that one perfect foundation for me though.. or that really perfect concealer. Taking care of the little ones take up most of my time so I need products that are easy to handle.

Anyway, here are some of my go-to products:
*MAC Studiofix Powder Plus Foundation in NC25 or
*Skin Food Peach Sake BB Cream
*Benefit BOING Concealer in Medium ( a tad dark for me at times)
*L'oreal True Match Blush in Rosy Cheeks or
          *Skin Food Muffin Cake
*The Body Shop Brush on Radiance or
*Missha Shimmering Ball Blusher in Pastel Glow
*MAC Lippie in Pink Nouveau or just
          *TonyMoly Magic Tint
          *Carmex Lip Balm

That's about it!  I usually just put powder or bb cream then a bit of luminizer and some magic tint then I'm off.  Sometimes, I do it on the car if DH is here to drive us.

What are your go-to products or your beauty must-haves?  Care to share? ;)

The Longchamp Addiction

As I've said, I'm a certified bagaholic! I've been collecting bags ever since I was a teenager.  I don't know what lead me to this obsession but I just love 'em!  I consider every collection my babies.  Sadly though, I had to sell my collections from the past to make way for the new ones.  I just can't afford to keep all of those & still buy new ones.. I just can't.

Right now, I am a Longchamp le Pliage addict.  I have been on the lookout for more le pliages since my first one. The very first Longchamp was in Bilberry in medium short handles.
In a span of one year or so, I must admit that my collection has grown.  It has reached almost 10 bags, I think.

I like these nylon totes because they are very light and durable plus they're a breeze to travel with You can change bags everyday  because they fold up to this very small thing. :)

Here are some of my Longchamp bags.. Enjoy!

Group Shot! =p
Medium short handles in Bilberry, Black (bugs badges), White

Large long handles in Peony Pink, Chocolate & Red Garance

Cabas in Thistle & Small SH LM Nylon in Black

So there.. What do you dolls think of my Longchamp collection?  What bags are you obsessed with right now?

I'm on a Roll =p

I can't stop blogging! hehe.  It's just that there are a lot of things on my mind right now and I haven't had the right person to talk to so I guess my lappy is my outlet this time.

The past few weeks has been really tiring for me and my kids.  We are at their doctor's clinic almost 3 times a week.  Their allergies have been acting up so that means coughing & sneezing on and off.  Plus my little one developed diaper rash which lasted for more than a month.  Thank God he's better now!  The rash is almost gone.  He only has this bothersome colds to handle but that's okay.  The nasal aspirator works wonders on that part.  I try not to give him flu medicine that often.  I try to let him overcome his colds the natural way.  He has been bombarded with a lot of medicines since he was 3 month old.. I think he could use  the break.

Anyways, the reason why I can't sleep actually is a different story.  No, I haven't gotten mad before the boys went to sleep nor was I too full to sleep.

It's this MbMJ has been keeping me up for weeks now.  :)

I want a MbMJ Totally Turnlock Clutch!! It is absolutely stunning! =p  I just can't stop thinking about it.  I even think about it in my sleep.  Crazy..

What do you think?  I am absolutely crazy over this!!!

Enough said for now...

Possession Obsession

I've been obsessing about Longchamp bags since last year.  So far, my collection has gone to about 8 le pliages already.  The search for these nylon totes has been quite gruesome in the beginning since it wasn't that popular here then.  Right now, it's a different story.  You see people everywhere toting these bags.  I don't mind.. after all, they come in different colors & sizes.

Early on I found them to be quite expensive but as time progressed, my love for these babies have grown.  I have learned to appreciate the nylon because it is absolutely weightless. If you're like me that you like to bring your 'whole house' in your bag, then this bag is an absolute necessity! :)  The key is to put a bag organizer inside so that you can keep your belongings in place and this will also give the bag some dimension.  Did I mention that bag organizers are my biz? ;)

My quest for Longchamp has not ended.  I want several more colors & in different sizes as well.  Plus, the rare style of Pluie d' Argent is on top of my list right now.  I hope my friend finds one for me soon.

I'll have to post some pics of my growing collection soon.

Sorry, I'm too lazy to upload pics as of now. Uh oh, that's not a good thing for someone who aspires to become a photog someday 'ey?

Enough said for now...

The Day that Was

Today was a busy day! I had to prepare early for both my kids' doctors' appointment.  Ahia has asthma again & shoti is scheduled for MMR vaccine & a follow-up from his Allergologist.
I was expecting my husband to accompany us but he wasn't able to make it--busy as usual.  It is such a pain to take the kids to the doctor alone.  Good thing, I have two helpers plus my sister was here to accompany us.
All went well for their check-up.  Ahia just cried because he didn't want to be vaccinated as well.
We went to the nearest mall after which I met with my best friend.  I haven't seen her in a while & it felt really good to see her again.  Plus, I was really happy that she supported my biz. Woohoo!  Thanks a lot, bes! ;-)
We went to a smaller but a bit on the higher end mall to finish up the afternoon.  I was really getting hungry there but decided to window shop instead.  I've been eyeing these Fitflop sandals for quite sometime now but haven't got the means to buy myself a pair.  I think they're way too pricey for my feet.  If my bags cost that much, I think I would buy 3 at a time.  Haha.  Not fair.. I loooove bags way too much.
Anyways, it was getting late so we decided to head home.  my hubby was also on his way so we decided to meet at another mall instead.  That's 3 malls in a row--who's counting?
We had dinner there, my kids rode the carousel, I met with my brother there & window-shopped a bit.
Then it was time to go home..

One last thing, I was really disappointed bacause my package didn't arrive today.. I was more disappointed to learn that it hadn't left the place it was from yet since the 11th.  Gosh!  Super getting mad & really, really, major-majorly disappointed.
I will let you know when the package arrives & will also reveal what it is..

Enough said for now... goodnight!

A Certified Bagaholic

The first few lines I started to write wasn't working for me so I decided to write something all over again.  So here goes...

I am Kooky and I AM A BAGAHOLIC! that's more like it. :)

I can't remember exactly how this loooove (obsession) started.  I know I used to collect wallets when I was in grade school --and high school and all throughout my college days even.  I think this bag thing was already within me but has just not gotten out yet until I started working.  Oh yes!  Things are becoming a lot clearer now.. well, sort of.
I remember that working in a bank has allowed me to save up for a bag every so often.  I remember rushing to the mall after payday so I could check out what the latest styles were.  Black bags were mostly what I had my eye on since we were allowed to wear only black pumps for work. I want my shoes and bags to match.  Note that I am super careful with my girls.. that's what I call 'em instead of babies. lol
I have managed to keep most of them in tip top shape till a couple of years ago when I started my online biz.  It was only then that I decided it was time for me to part with them. :(

I have this bad habit that when I'm into a certain brand, I just got to have almost every piece of it that I have my eye on.  Very bad, right?  There was even a point in time that I purchased 4 or 5 bags in a month.  Gosh!  If I didn't spend my own money on it, I would be banned, so banned for the next 10 years. haha
Now, my collection consists of LV's, Dooney's and Longchamp's.  I have sold most of my RL & Chaps bags, the Lacoste ones too & some other Japanese brand I used to love.  I thought, it was time for a transition. I didn't think they fit my lifestyle anymore.  Well, maybe not my lifestyle but something just doesn't feel right when I wear them.  You all know what I mean, right? Right? :)  Help me out here, bag addicts. :)

I'm gonna try to post pics of my bag collection in the coming days.. can't say when but soon...

One last thing, if there's one more thing you should know about me is that I am a very non-techie individual.  I love gadgets & everything but I just find it quite difficult to fit all that uploading & editing (as if I know how to) in between nursing, nappy changing, driving & teaching my kids so please bear with me.

Enough said for now...

Hello

It's so nice to be back!  I am just so overwhelmed that I am able to write again.

Writing, doodling, and reading are a few of my favorite things to do.  I hope I'll be able to keep this blog.. to be able to update as often as I can.

This blog will be so random, so emotional, so natural, so kooky, so ME.

I hope to meet new friends this way.. to inspire others and to just release whatever I am feeling at certain points in my life.

Enough said for now...
